The DC/ PC community has turned into BULLSHIT.
Nobody cares about us, people insult each other, its really lame to see this...
Whatever I HOPE this project will put an end to all this!

Known Facts:
-CRONO, as everyone say and also forum staff, that I won't name their names, DOESN'T care about the first versions which made Schtserv PSO born. This is SAD...

-GAMECUBE and BB do have their OWN SHIPs while DC/PC DON'T.
If some of you say this is because WE are just a few, than GTFO because 1-you might be someone from the staff with "power" and own a ship already or 2-I better not mention it :X

-People are moving to another servers like OC/ DC-Talk.
Don't blame these communities, cause if we had our own ship, people wouldn't do this.

-We ARE NOT asking Crono to host on his server, WE can do it and pay for it!
WE MUST STILL THANK CRONO, FOR STILL SUPPORTING PSO. Thanks.

-Don't mention The Dude's GC Ship. Don't start saying it is for the DC/PC community as well, that's bullshit, we always see GC'ers buged animations. Tha'ts GCs ship, NOT OURS.

-I apologize if I'm being rude, but I feel this community needs a change.
Too tell the truth I don't give a shit about the fights, and I never get into them, hope not to get with this thread, however I'm talking as the WHOLE community which is not happy with what's going on.

How to solve this issue once and for all:
-Let US DC/PC community have our own Ship appearing at the Shiplist as GC/BB, because WE are the veterans, we saw PSO coming out to the world on first time online console!

I believe aleronives takes care of that, but as far as i can see, his ideas are sometimes a joke, he wants to help ver.1/ver.2 players but some of his ideas contradict what he says.
No need to have a group to discuss this, since ives is a mod he will have the last word, so even staff members will worship him.

Probably the same reason there isn't a trade section here, we are low on pop, but only if we view the active ones, because the overall population is bigger, nothing stops a member from dreamcast talk servers to play here, let's say someone want a hacked blue ring, then they come to this server, that anyone can do.

final note, i don't mind having a specific ship or not, i still need to search for a game, what i do know is that sometimes ver.2 players become splited in the server, some make games in skyline for example, wich consider the actual gc ship status, playing in skyline may be a good idea.

neither GC nor PC/DC have enough of a population to warrent their own ships respectivly, they share terra luna or cephei or what ever may be online at the time. ships can host up to 300 people there is more then ehough space for both small populations, and makes updating quests easier since both versions are in 1 place.

While that sounds reasonable, people do actually feel they need their own ship.
People who care about the boards, info counters, event organizations. Having our own space will make us closer and stronger.
And if WE can host and pay for it, why not grant us that wish?

I'm a supporter for both DC-Talk and Schthack (yes, I donate here). I really believe in what Ives and Lee are doing and all must realize this was hard work that made this community last as long as it has. They do more work to support PSO than most anyone else that is a community member here. I equate this like a religion, We believe in the same thing but we just can't seem to quit fighting over the little differences we have. If you like what is being done here, then play!

If not, either go elsewhere, quit or support Schthack - Ives, Crono and Lee. Bottom line, quit crying and start playing the game or just quit. Over the years including now, like it or not, this was the only place that really supported PSO, whether your religion is Dreamcast, Game Cube, PC or Xbox, this community is still here and has been the cornerstone of extending the life of a game Sega has left far behind and Microsoft has done all they could to be the only one standing.

Whether DC-Talk or O.C. are also supporting PSO or not is not the issue, it's the insipid bashing of anyone who does things differently than you would like just because you want chocolate instead of vanilla. Why?

Just play the game, have fun and live a better life, but show some appreciation for Ives, Lee and Crono for all the hard work they have done to maintain this community!

For the record, most people at DC-Talk do like Schthack's team and do not harbour ill will against anyone here and were supportive of Ives and Lee's work with the ISO project they so diligently worked on.

Why will having a PC/DC-exclusive ship stop people from leaving Schthack? You say people are leaving, but do they say that it's because they don't have their own ship?

Tream0ne, you can Use ppsosv2 to host your own ship on the region specific part of shipgate if you want and tell people to go there, what I'm trying to tell you is what you are asking for is unecessary, there is no need to seperate the GC,DC,PCV2 communities, the games are cross compatibale however buggy that may be. And btw if you didn't notice, when the GC server was hosted by the dude, the info counters where updated with quest information for V2. Crono is only temp hosting while the dude moves hopefully.

Neither GC, nor V2 has official event planners, the reason, the GC ones we had where useless and didn't warrent their position based on the size of the community, they now organise their own events.

If you really want a space to call your own, Take block 2 on Terra Luna as the official v2 ship, each block btw is a seperate ship.

Btw I will try and port some of the recent quests I ported to GC to V2, I think Ives has been bit busy lately, and I should be able to get MA4 episode 1 route a,b and c running so you guys can have some fun with it.

We could plan a few other things too. I just think there should be more GM's that frequently play the game and kick once in a while those who use hacked stuff, which is pretty annoying .

If you are talking about this server, then i propose that one of the ships running that are occupied by the fewest BB players should be renovated into a PC DC and perhaps GC only ship

I personally believe that more ships might scatter the few players on PSO PC and DC remaining

I feel we should get our own ship. As ives said there is no point sharing a ship with people we can not play with. Yes there are fewer and fewer of us out there and the software to host our own ship is far from perfect unlike the main ships running now. There are people willing to host our own v2 ships, I even asked schthack before he left if I could. No reply. But even so. People would like our own ship using the latest ship software.
