The Debug ship needs to be updated again, last update had a small error in it that disabled a few things. Once that gets done, I'll get on.

Good news - I have my cube, and it's all set up.

Bad news - I have the exact same connection problems I had in New Zealand, and at the moment I can't connect.

@ GBL: Which version of EPIII do you have? If it's PAL, is it the Europe or Australian version?

It's the UK PAL version - I've posted the code from the back of the case on the Zenfa board.

In a twist to the weirdness of my illogical life, I was messing about with adjusting random settings on the GC side, to see if anything would get Ep3 to work. 2nd different settings worked, and I didn't even use DNS forwarding on my PC - which has ALWAYS been needed by Ep3 before for me.

What's even weirder is that Cap N's router's still up (I spoke to him briefly on the TL lobby), and I've only ever been able to get Ep3 connected when it's been off before, lol.

I'll post my exact GC settings here (as well as Zenfa) when I go offline.

As such, I'm on Ep3 and there's nobody else on... :glare:

I've just reconnected to make sure I can still connect with them (I assume Cap N has reallocated his ports since he hosted his server briefly earlier), and it still works for me. The test ships's not up at the moment, though.

OK, here's exactly what I have in my cube settings (after the provider selection, of course)

Ethernet settings
Auto IP, and do not disconnect

IP Address Auto-Settings
Primary DNS - 65.12.199.46
Secondary DNS - 209.17.170.137
DCHP - Not set

Browser Settings (Not important, but I'll put them down anyway...)
Proxy Server Address - My PC's internal IP address (via ipconfig in XP)
Proxy Port Number - 8080 (I just kept it from the Ep1&2 Snapshot tool's settings)

What region's your BBA? I know that mine (EUR and USA BBAs) seem to give different results connecting to a Fuzzi server.

The one that's connecting to schthack is my EUR BBA - I'll try tommorow with the USA model in the same GC.

Fixed my previous post as well. It was meant to be Cap N's IP address.

Hey all, Just a few things.

One, a glitch: You get dealt 5 cards, right? Well, when equipping, sometimes I'll get another card, but just one. For instance, playing as a hunter: 5 cards are given. I equip a saber, and then randomly, another card is given. I'll try to see what triggers it, but this is all I've got for now.

Two, I just walked through a rag rappy. And now a hildebear is floating on the same square as a claw. :P

EDIT: They were Aerial. So that explains that, but still, the Hildebear and claw did a strange thing there.

As for card abilities, all seemed to work just fine that I could use. Great job, and again, thank you. :)

Now this is certainally odd...

I can connect with those settings with my EUR BBA, but not with me USA one. I thought that they were all identical across the board.

USA BBA gives an error 102 with Ep3 (but not Ep1&2 - sorta explains why those settings never seemed to work before), whereas the EUR BBA goes through fine.

There's got to be some sort of hardware difference in the BBAs from different regions to cause this difference. Anyone willing to strip down their BBA to check? Didn't think so...

I can explain these for you. There are two main glitches with your hand right now; one is what you described, getting extra cards after playing some on your set phase. This seems to happen when you were supposed to get new cards back at the beginning of your Set phase (from playing defense cards during the opponent's turn). Instead of getting the new cards then, your hand refills AFTER the set phase (the other hand glitch).

About passing through FCs and standing in the same square, it's because the server doesn't 'say no' to the player/CPU if someone else made an identical/conflicting move choice at the same time. CPUs don't have any wait time programmed in atm, so it's not uncommon to see two CPUs move to the same space when they both want to be there.

And about the aerial Hildebear, lol. Sometimes a player will see some status effects on the field, and if that player is the game leader then what they see can affect CPUs as well. The glitch is tied to item slots and not the items themselves - ex: if your third weapon is paralyzed and your second weapon is killed, the other will no longer be paralyzed because it will fill the second slot now. Play another weapon though, and that will become paralyzed.

Most of the time the status effect glitch can be solved by remaking a game, preferably with someone else leading it. If it sticks around still, try resetting your cube. If it still persists, sorry lol. We'll get to the root of that problem eventually.

Too bad I have to start over (again).

Are the Pinz's shop cards still free? I need to load up on Unit Blow cards :)

Yes the card shop is free. Its one of those things right now that is low priority.

Well its something that's out of our control anyway. Our goal is to try and get ep3 running as similarly as possible to sega. Pinz's shop wasn't free on the sega servers. Crono would need to fix that.
