This quest was made by Sega and is originally in an Episode IV area (Subterranean Desert 1). Lore wise, it occurred near the very end of Episode IV.

The port version is a solo quest that takes place in Seabed Lower, as far as the lore goes, this quest will lead up to the events of Episode IV. It features you fighting lots of NPCs, and then being able to lift their weapons from them once they're defeated. Their weapons differ depending what difficulty you are on. Here are the specific nitty gritty details as follows:

Normal: All NPCs have blue tiered non rare weapons (with the exception of the Forces, they'll have green tier non rare weapons.) 70% of the time you will not get a special on the weapon. 30% of the time, you'll get Blizzard, Tempest, or Burning.

Hard: All NPCs will have purple tiered non rare weapons (with the exception of the Forces, they'll have blue tier non rare weapons.) 25% of the time you will not get a special on the weapons. 50% of the time you'll get Blizzard, Tempest or Burning, 25% of the time you'll get Berserk, Spirit, Chaos, King's, Gush.

Very Hard: All NPCs will have Red tiered non rare weapons (with the exception of the Forces, they'll have purple tier non rare weapons.) 30% of the time you will get Burning, Tempest or Blizzard. 50% of the time you'll get Berserk, Spirit, Chaos, King's, Gush. 20% of the time you'll get Demon's, Hell, or Arrest. The weapons you obtain on this difficulty will be reported to the drop log.

Ultimate: All NPCs will have Gold tiered non rare weapons (with the exception of the Forces, they'll have red tier non rare weapons.) 25% to get Blizzard, Tempest, or Burning. 40% to get Berserk, Spirit, Chaos, King's, Gush. 30% to get Arrest, Hell or Demon's. 5% to get Charge. The weapons you obtain on this difficulty will be reported to the drop log.

In all difficulties, the chance to get Hit is 20%. The values from Normal to Ultimate for hit are as follows. 5%, 10%, 20%, 30%. There's also what I call a jackpot hit chance too, which is a 3% chance. The values for each difficulty are as follows. 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%.
