I'm not sure where best to post this, so I figured I'd start here since I'm playing on the GC. How does the server item giveaway/lottery work? It seems to be for all versions of the game online, do you have to sign-up for them in anyway here? I don't recall anything like this on the Sega servers way back when, so I'm eager to be brought up to speed.

It randomly selects a winner. I'm not sure what the chances are, but my guess is it's completely randomized.

There's no sign-up you just have to be online in order to be a possible draw.
