I was just curious can the Gamecube players play with those who are using BlueBurst?

It should be added that the PC V2 / Dreamcast players need to host the team - enabling cross-platform play - and that the connectivity is EXTREMELY buggy - and prone to all sorts of undesirable problems for the Gamecube players.

While it can be done, it is far from recommended.

I didn't think that it was possible... I remember thinking when PSO was on Xbox that it should be able to connect to each other.

It was a bit of a side-project by the schtserv staff a few years back just to see if it was possible since the game engines are similar. Like I said though, as the games were never meant to interact outside the lobby, there are problems.

If memory serves me correctly, Blue Burst was built on PSO Xbox (which used Xbox Live for online play and - as far as I know - cannot connect to any private servers at all) - although there were plenty of changes done which made BB essentially its own game.
