I don't believe there is a way to connect to any online game from a Wii on Phantasy Star.

It requires a Gamecube and a Broadband Adapter. From what I remember, you will get a game error and it will tell you to reset your Wii console when you choose the
Provider Option
via your Network Options when setting up your connection to schthack.

If you do have a Gamecube and a Broadband Adapter, you can follow either their guide on how to connect to their server with a GC or a YouTube video that helped me connect to their server - both links will be below.

→ Guide:
http://schtserv.com/connect-psogc.php

→ YouTube Video:

Hope I could help.

I made a short video on how you can connect if you are using Wii/Wii U with Homebrew.

If you are just using regular Wii, the network setting process is very similar except your just ignore the "modem username/password" setting that I show in the video.

The only steps I know of for sure is that you first need to enable homebrew on your Wii - there's a variety of methods to do that - then get a hold of the "Devolution" gamecube emulator for the Wii. This emulates the Modem adapter for the Gamecube (I've not kept up to date on it, so they may well have gotten around to including the Broadband Adapter too by now) - and therefore allows PSO to connect online using the Wii's wifi capabilities.

I don't know the modem adapter setup specifics, but with the BBA, essentially you just point the primary DNS to schtserv and it'll connect no problem.

Interesting. If anyone can confirm a way to connect with a Wii (alongside a tutorial), I'd appreciate the help as well.

Yes you can connect to any GC private server on the Wii (In any I mean the 2) you do need a homebrew Wii, and 2 apps, (clean rip and something else) You also need a physical copy of PSO I think PSO+ works as well. I don't recommend it because its emulateing dial up and it's kinda laggy as a result, at least it was on L33t it might be better on this server. But it's completely playable if you can deal with the lag, (it's not that bad) and the game looks beautiful with component cables. If you are interested I'd be happy to help you connect with the the Wii.

There are more than just 2 private GC servers. Sylverant is another one, as well as the JP server. I believe there are still more as well, just not as well known.
