Hi i'm new i just downloaded this from hearing about it on reddit, i started it up made my character and now i don't know what to do where is the game? all i see are npc's in different colored rooms that all the same function which is the information counter if someone can tell me how to actually get into the game and start playing i'd appreciate it

those room are what we call lobby

the npc allow you to create a team to start a game, you have the choice of 3 episodes you can start with first one, its the most easy
