Disconnected from server every 1~2 games

Hi! First off, thank you for your work on Ep III.
My friend and me had been wanting to play it online and were so thrilled we could finally play!
The only issue we've been encountering when playing on Gamecube ship is that for some reason my friend keeps getting disconnected from the server every 1~2 games, most of the times during a game, losing points everytime in the process.
My friend is playing on Wii and never had this issue before when we played Ep I&II on another server.
Is there anything that could be done to fix this issue?
