So I am going to start playing pap again and I wasn't sure if I should play phantasy star online or phantasy star online plus any advice?




As I wasn't sure if I made someone on one I wasn't be able to play them on another

Either or. the version does not matter.

Only because I've never played plus and didn't know if there was any changes 

Plus is essentially a few bugfixes and a handful of extra quests available offline which are already available on the servers anyway.  It only came out in NTSC regions such as the US and Japan - PAL territories got a sort of "in-between" version with some of the bugfixes (all minor) and none of the extra quests.


All 3 versions can communicate quite happily - but I recall hearing that back on the official Sega servers, PAL players using 50hz couldn't game with those playing on 60hz (Essentially the screen refresh rate) - but that's not been an issue on any other server (or most games since then).
